Kastro (Kice Soroor) is the first Canadian/ Afghan Pop Artist to hit the music scene with his unique sound & style. His official first single “Crush on You” debuted in early 2010, which received (without any promo) over 50,000 Youtube views in a matter of months. When asking Kastro his thoughts on his tremendous success, he says: "People don't just go to Youtube to WATCH the music video; in fact, it's the song that keeps them coming back." Since then, his talent has certainly progressed and is shown through his ability to create music in different genres (Hip Hop/Rap/ RnB/Rock/Electro-pop/House). Besides having countless interviews and features, Kastro has already performed at some of Toronto's hottest venues. Whether it be Luxy Nightclub, Frequency Nightclub or The Guvernment, Kastro dedicates all of his success to his family, friends and the whole Afghan community. He also performed at the Direct Energy Centre in front of 30,000 spectators; entertained massive crowds with Bollywood's Atif Aslam & Amanat Ali; and recently did an appearance at the 8th Annual Miss Pakistan World Event. Knowing that he is destined to bring change, Kastro accordingly released his first debut album "The Revolution" on 9/11/2010.
